A New Year Is Upon Us...

And what does that mean for this blog?
1. It means I vow to get music on this blog! *Hint: anyone who knows how to get music on this thing, lemme know!*

A tiny rant complete with pictures! :D

So, in case you haven't heard, my entire family came home for the holiday and they are all staying at my house. Well, to make a long story short, I have a doberman pinscher and my family basically thinks that he is some killing machine or something.
A doberman is not mean. In fact, he's cuddly and cute and smart and loyal.
When I told my family this they were like, "You are still wrong. They'll attack you."
Yeah.
Since THIS sure does look like a killer.

Now you see why I basically blow up at people who say they are violent.
Because they aren't. They can be, but so can every other dog and animal out there.

Ok, the results for my polls are in. :)
If people had to choose between being a fluffy bunny with chocolate eggs compared to the man who rides in a sleigh, Santa would win.
In highschool, most of us are the people who are simply trying to get out of this town. (I know I sure am..)
Yep, we are demi-gods killing monsters with Percy! Hades is my greek god parent, who's yours? :) Of course, we also have the few who are in Dumbledore's Army, and a person who is team edward.
Most people would rather go around all day with a bad note on their back rather then walk around with dog doo-doo on their foot.
There is an even amout of animal eaters and plant murder's out there! I'm a plant murderer, in case you haven't guessed. xD
AND. We have healthy people out there. The top drinks were OJ and water. :)

Five facts about Skip. :)

So, let's see, here a few things you may have not known about me. :)

1. Those preppy girls you see at school, yeah we all know 'em. The ones that only talk to their friend's and always have a boyfriend? Yeah, I hate them. Weird thing? I used to be one of them. Of course, now, I'm pretty far from it.

2. When I grow up....I have no idea what I want to be. Everyone pressures you to figure it out, but honestly, I'm in high school. Half the people out there that are 40 are having a mid-life crisis because they have no idea what to do with their life. I figure I might as well enjoy life while I have it, then waste it planning for a future that I may never have. Besides, I'm not exactly excellent at anything.

3. I have a bad case of time management. Simply because well, I never want to do it. I hate doing school work, yet I have a ton of it. I love to start things, but I can never find the will power to finish anything. It's a bad habit that I have yet I am trying my hardest to break it.

4. I'm a heavily opinionated person. But, I'm also very open-minded. Simply put, I have my opinions, but to me, they are never and will never be facts. They can change as I change, and I expect them to. After all, living life with one view point can never be interesting.

5. I'm a very messy person. My room is never clean, my computer desktop is a maze, and I believe it's a miracle I can find my way to school. I have a hard time telling left from right. I usually get letters mixed up. Along with numbers. It's a tough life in highschool, lemme tell you.

OHMYGOSH!? December, already!?

That's right, it's December. December first, to be exact, in case you were not informed.

December...it's a wonderful month. It means Christmas break (ok, winterbreak, same difference...), it means christmas concerts, it means my half-brother is coming down, and it means that I might actually get to see snow.
If it ever snows in texas, of course.
Which I'm very doubtful of.
Oh well.

I'll always have my internet snow, of course. :) Just like what I posted above.

Top Five Heros!

Number One Hero: Demi Lovato

Demi...why? Not because I'm a disney fan, but because this girl has been through a lot. She's been bullied and hurt, and yet somehow, she can still manage to bring happiness and confidence to many girls. She's taken charge of her life, and I can relate to her. She is in rehab for cutting herself, and I used to. No matter what though, she does one thing many people don't. She lives her life.

Number Two Hero: Christofer Drew

The man can sing, dance, write songs, and play just about ever instrument out there. What more could one want in a hero? He seems to be at total peace with the world, very much relaxed with life. He's also a vegetarian, like me! Plus, his music is 'amazing' in musical form.

Number Three:Superwoman

If this woman isn't amazing, I don't know who is. She is the total woman power idol. She's a hero that can not be out done, unless maybe by...nope, nothing. But that doesn't count. She can do anything and everything, and that makes her amazing. End. Of. Story.

Number Four: Dumbledore

He's my wizard teacher. I'm a total harry potter nerd, and neither Harry nor Voldemort nor Snap could come close to Dumbledore. I love this man!

Number Five: My Computer

My computer brought me sims, facebook, IMing, e-mails, myspace, and everything else. It is amazing what it can do. :)

Those are my heros, and I hope you enjoyed hearing who my heros are. :)

Ok, I have many things to inform you of.
First:
Happy late halloween! I'm late with this, but oh well. For halloween, I was the Big Bad Wolf. :) My boyfriend was Little Red Riding Hood. xD I mean, he's like half a foot taller then me to. Oh well, I have black hair, which fits the wolf thing, and he just dyed his hair an auburn color...so I guess it all worked out.
Second:
NeverShoutNever and The Maine are in Texas. They've been here since November second. Oh. My. Gosh. Where am I? In Texas. Two of my favorite bands are in Texas, mere hours from me, and I do not have  ticket. -_-
Thirdly:
I have been an official vegetarian for three years now, except for the five times I accidently ate a chicken tender. D:
Fourth:
My room is in the process of being re-done, and let me just tell you...my family's guest bed sucks. Majorly. I have never had so many back issues.

Music is coming to this blog soon! I hope you all enjoy the music I put on here. :)

Harry Potter!

So recently, I watched all the Harry Potter movies...yeah I know, it took FOREVER, but I got it all done in one day *smiles proudly*
Anywhos, while I was watching it, I couldn't help but think...
Ok, Harry Potter is Daniel Radcliff.
Hermione Granger is Emma Watson.
And then Ron Weasely is Rupert Grint.
But what thing I could not figure out.....who plays Malfoy!?
Turns out it is a 21 year old actor that goes by the name of Tom Felton. Bet none of you knew that, eh? (Ok some of you might've, but oh well!)

Also, I was just wondering, if you could go into any Harry Potter house (Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Gryffindor) which would you be in, and why?

Eight facts about me..

So, not that any of you care, but I personally believe that if you read someone's blog, you should learn things about the type of person they are. So, here are eight facts about me:

1. I have black hair that is pefectly curled. It used to reach my hips until one day I got gum stuck in it and I was forced to cut it to my shoulders. It's growing back fast, but it is still a shock.

2. I have green eyes as does my sister.

3. I play the flute in band and sing in the school choir (I'm a soprano/alto voice), as do some of my best friends.

4. I want to go to NYU or Julliard for college, although I doubt I'll ever get that far, as I'm not very outstanding in area of schoolwork. I'm simply average.

5. My favorite colors are purple and orange. Ya know, the pastel colors. They are soothing and gentle...

6. I'm a total amimal lover. I've got five dogs, four cats, three birds, a rabbit, a goat, a cow, and a horse. Along with a goldfish named Sha-doink.

7. I'm currently in public school, but I used to be home-schooled and I also used to go to private school.

8. I love all types of music, but my obsessions are: The Killers, The Ready Set, NeverShoutNever!, and Taylor Swift. (Brooks and Dunn is also a more of a liking, as their song Neon Moon is my favorite country song of all time!)

So, did ya learn anything about me?

People these days...

Ok, we've got a new girl at school. I should say that I'm in high school, and I always go out of my way to be nice to the new kids. It's tough to be at a new school, ya know?
Well anyways, this girl was utterly rude to me, yet she was all over my boyfriend.
Then, she got up the nerve to ask why he was with me and what he saw in me.
Needless to say, I had a mouthful of words to tell that girl.
I mean....seriously, who asks that? You may think it, but you never voice it out loud.
Oh well, I suppose to each their own.

Also, my computer has a virus. My simming computer, actually. The family computer works just fine...but my simming one got infected. Stupid no good infected e-mail that I have become burdened with.
:(

The fine print...

Everyone knows what the fine print is, right?
The fine print that comes up on an infomercial at the end in letters so small you can't read it?
Well, word to the wise: Read them
Ya see, my english project, the one I worked three freaking whole days on, had fine print with it.
The paper was supposed to be eight pages long, no shorter no less. Mine was...twenty pages.
The paper was supposed to be about three different aspects that affect literature now or have. I did that of course, but not in the eight pages. Mine took up twenty, blegh. :p (Although, my paper was rather good, if I do say so myself!)
Anyways, I basically it every point, but the fact of the matter is that I will only get graded on my eight pages. Not my twenty.
So, what does this mean for me?
That I'm going to fail english.
Why?
Because this was a major project.
Worth how much?
Five freaking test grades.
Great. Just great.


And if anyone recorded The Ready Set's interview with the Sim group, or if you find it on youtube or somewhere, let me know. Because, sadly, I missed it. :( Stupid afterschool activities! *cough MARCHING BAND cough*

Some little random facts I wanted to share with you all! :)

1. Did you know that your tounge is indeed your strongest muscle?

2. That there was a time when the majority of the American South was democratic instead of republician?

4. That the smartest US city is the also the capital, Washington DC?

Some of you may be asking why I posting these facts...truth is, I needed them for a class (I actually needed 50! D: ) But, I found these interesting, so, I'm sharing them with you. :)

And for those of you who want to know, my doggy has indeed lived! He's walking now, he's really unstable and wobbles, but he can move and eat on his own. I'm going to keep him, and I named him Alexander, for any of you who want to know. :)

Holding a life in your hands...

Once again, this is about my puppy.
The poor guy has parvo and was stepped on, suffering from spinal and nerve damage. These things are curable...the catch is, their curable indivually. Both are hard to cure for puppies, much less if the two are combined.
Now, my puppy has gotten worse. He can't stand or sit or even move. He's had a seizure at least once, and he can't manage to eat on his own.
But, when you look into his eyes, you see a soul fighting for survival.
Now, my vet suggests we give him a couple more days to see if he recovers. If he doesn't, he suggests we put him down and out of his pain.
Now, I hold this innnocent puppy life in my hands. My family won't make the decision to put him down, they'll leave it up to me because in the end, I care the most for this puppy.
I thought of putting him down, releasing him from the pain that he suffers daily and inceasingly.
But, I can't imagine taking a life from such innocent of a soul that is obviously fighting to live the life he was destined to have.
So, what am I to do? What would you do in a situation where the life of another creature depended on you?

I was thinking today...and I was wondering two things. Comment, and tell me which you would prefer, and if you want, why you prefer it.

Beatles and my puppies....

So, a few months ago, a stray dog followed me home. My family and I could never find his owners, and as he was quite scrawny, we decided to keep him. He turned out to be a beagle dog (or at least looks like one) and I named him Beatle (since when I found him, I was listening to the beatles).
Anyways, I've grown quite found of this dog, and I regreted to notice the fact that my other dog was indeed preggo.
Anywhos, she had puppies, and I've been taking care of them (there are like, five of them) and now, one of those little puppies are sick. While the other four are running around, this one can't move very much and it just sits around as if it's constantly tired. I talked to my vet, and the puppy should be moving around like the rest of them. Anyways, this same dog is getting a running nose, and it grunts and whines whenever it moves and after it's done eating. Therefore, my five week old puppy is sick, and I'm really worried. I've grown quite fond of all those little dogs, and I'd be heartbroken if he got so sick that he died.
Enter Beatle. Beatle noticed he's sick, or at least not feeling well, and Beatle is constantly licking him like a mother dog should. I don't know if this is a good sign, but it comforts me knowing that Beatle cares about the puppies.


And that was me getting rid of my worries....sorry about that.

Oh deary...

I was checking my stat's today, and of course, a lot of my blog view's come from the US of A. Well, they're are also people reading it from the U.K and Canada and Ireland.
I do believe that is fairly amazing.
And to everyone that read's this from Canada, you my friends, are living in my dream place.
Your also living in my dream place if you live anywhere located where there is snow.
Yeah, my dream place is pretty simple.
